It’s always a sensible Wimbledon betting strategy to see who has performed well at the Stella Artois Tennis tournament to assess who is performing well on grass. In the ‘men’s singles odds’ much of the betting support is towards world number one Rafael Nadal who leads the table at 2/1 with most books, following his sixth win of the French Open at Roland Garros. Roger Federer returns to his preferred tournament at 9/4 odds looking to equal the Pete Sampras record of 7 Wimbledon wins. This year’s Australian Open winner Novak Djokovic is third favorite at 3/1. And Andy Murray sitting just behind Djokovic at 5/1 after winning the AEGON Championships last week. The Scotsman could be standing at the threshold of winning a first ever “Grand Slam” over the next couple of weeks at Wimbledon as he has continuously improved. And in women’s single odds 2004 champion Maria Sharapova is the favorite at 3/1. Serena Williams follow close behind at 4/1 despite the fact that she hasn’t played since last summer. @zjiarui Top sportsbook pinnacle offered the opposite for federer and nadal. Nadal 3.60 Federer 3.10 Djokovic 4.76. So this is lure and a trap considering most people are betting nadal. I personally think nadal cannot win when pinnacle is willing to offer higher than normal. Punters can even put equal wagers on top 2 and top 3 players to earn juice, too good to be true. There might be a new champ. These odds happened for the first time since many years ago. Nadal was 2.00 region last year.

The mighty sisters have clashed in four Wimbledon finals, with the younger Serena taking three of the four meetings.
