I wanted to show you all the upcoming Guardian Cub companion if you haven’t seen it yet and a bit of what I think about the whole thing. So basically if you haven’t heard, this pet will cost $10 at Blizzard’s online pet store and be tradeable ingame. That means you can sell it for gold ingame to anyone you want and even have it listed on the Auction House. Whoa, whoa so wait… does that mean Blizzard is ok with trading real life money for gold ingame? You bet your ass they are as long as the money is going in their pocket. While they use to have a completely different stance on selling gold to players they also realize they are losing a lot of money by not giving an avenue to do so and may be creating more of a blackmarket for stolen gold. So, while you may not agree to it, it’s ten million times better than buying gold from some random place that most likely stole accounts to get the gold in the first place.
