Eamon look ahead to today and tomorrow’s Round of 16 games. Holland v Slovakia Holland are going to have to go out and win it as Slovakia won’t lie down, but they have the players to do so. Brazil v Chile Eamon thinks Brazil will win the game, but not as easily as we may expect becasue of how Chile played against Spain. Paraguay v Japan Eamon sees this one going to penalties after a very close tight game. Spain v Portugal Portugal will be looking to keep things very tight. Ronaldo hasn’t really performed yet but this Spanish defence might give him the opportunity. That said, Eamon feels David Villa will get a goal and win the game. Eamon’s Bets: Holland 2 – 0 Slovakia (3 points) Spain 1 – 0 Portugal (3 points) Fabiano to score first for Brazil (4 points) Paraguay v Japan to draw in 90mins (5 points)

Eamon looks ahead to the World Cup second round games this weekend. England v Germany England may have scrambled over the line and Germany is not the ideal match-up but England may be over their psychological barrier and ready for knockout football. Very tough to call, but could go to Penalties. Argentina v Mexico Although Argentina have a strong trio of Messi, Tevez and Veron up front, Demichellis and Gutierez leave them wide open in defence. Mexico have every chance of getting a goal, but Eamon thinks Argentina will be able to outscore them. Uruguay v South Korea Uruguay will win in Eamon’s opinion, but South Korea will be up for it and it might go to penalties USA v Ghana USA have to be respected and Ghana missed lots of opportunites against Germany, but if they can be more clinical in the final third of the pitch, Eamon will be backing Ghana to win it. Weekend Bets 5 point double on: England v Germany (Draw) Spain to beat Chile
