Okay so the message of the story is good but the how the message is told is just weird, but here’s what happens Sweet Pea (the one that says “There are guards everywhere.”) is the only that gets out and Baby Doll (the blonde main character) doesn’t, she stays behind, they were the only two that lived. So yeah there was too much stuff going on it was kinda over loaded its an okay movie.

oh duh!! if you paid attention! the fantasy scenes were not some random crap!! every time baby doll did a dance she escaped into her mind! using the distraction of her dance as a weapon to fight for her freedom! and I think it was cool that they actually didn’t show the dances she did! you just saw what was going on in her mind. If she did amazing dances that blew everyone away, best to leave it to the imagination, works better that way

I finally got round to watching this and wondered? why all the bitching?? forget the babes and blades for a sec! this film is very arty! the soundtrack is kickass! and it has a deep/emotional storyline going on underneath all the mayhem! what was people expecting?? this film was unique and different, really mixed things up and didn’t give you want you were expecting! ahh! thats it 🙂 I guess people wanted a straightforward storyline with babes blowing crap up? like a transformers film?

I dont know what to think about this movie, I jus saw it and honestly I wouldn’t call it bad, it’s really good from my point of view. But it’s my opinion, you should watch it by yourself to get an opinion.If for nothing else then for the scenes, because it has some gorgeus scenes. 😀 (bad english)

Honestly, you guys are expecting to much! The movie was not about “thick plot”, or how people view certain kinds of people. I don’t think that this movie was trying to say women are objects–it’s all about interpertaion. I think it was saying society and Hollywood are really into viewing women as objects, and these womens are using what they’ve got–their “weapons”–or what people think make them objects to break free from being an object. The movie was meant for interpertaion. Snyder said so.
