Mr. Francis Thomas Vincent, also known as FAY did not get fired as the baseball commissioner, the truth is that Mr. Vincent resigned from being the baseball commissioner, because of all of the problems that happened as Donald Fehr was blatantly ignoring what the facts were as the head of the major league baseball players union, which is the truth! Now Peter Edward Rose Sr. did not talk about what happened with the players union! So get the record straight about Mr. Vincent, which is important!

  2. maroinmybones Says:

I dont give a rats ass if this guy gambled on how many BJ’s Johnny Bench handed out in the 70’s. He belongs in the HOF more than the steroid freaks of the 90’s/00’s.

  3. Bystander81 Says:

Pete Rose belongs in the hall of fame. We’re talking about a guy who when he was walked, would sprint to first base and wouldn’t quit practicing hitting until his hands bled and he needed stitches, even after holding half the offensive all time records. Put the guy in the HoF already!

  4. ryanisryan69 Says:

Sexual assault, drugs, steroids and…Dog fighting are ok in pro sports?….He is banned for gambling?

  5. LVCrocky Says:

  6. cheeriosinabowl Says:

Why would he bet on games? Wasn’t he rich enough?
Of course, if he was smart, he would know he would be caught, it was just a matter of time.

A rose by any other name … is a hose.

  7. thewaterfalloflove Says:

Pete Rose was one of my favorite players as a kid.

You can’t help but love the guy as a ball player. Pete Rose played hard and represented what competition is about. That same drive, ambition, confidence & desire to win that made him such a great ball player is exactly what’s kept him out of the Hall of Fame. He’s too proud and too focussed on being right (winning) to humble himself, and truly free himself of his sins against baseball. You have to be sincere from the heart Pete. No anger.

  8. instereovideos Says:

Pete Rose bet on some games, Bill Clinton got a blow job, Michael Vick was mean to animals, Tiger woods had a girlfriend, Anthony Weiner had a Facebook page, who fuckin’ cares?!

Let people do what they were born to do! If they commit crimes, let the law punish them under the law, but it isn’t the job of the American people to punish them too, and it isn’t the job of the PGA, MLB, NFL or anyone else. If Pete gambled, he deserves a fine. And if he broke the hit record, he deserves the Hall.

  9. lester5192 Says:

i didn’t know johnny cash played ball.

  10. quiubeto Says:

If Pete Rose doesn’t deserve his OWN WING in Cooperstown because of his actions out of the field, then people like Ty Cobb or even Babe Ruth should be kicked out, simple as that, do some research about the players in the Hall and you will find not only gamblers, but murderers, ku kux klan members, cheaters and drug addicts. Be fair MLB, let Pete in.

  11. fran9860 Says:

He is a scammer and a con-artist. Betting against his own team is un-american.

  12. Bonsignore4U Says:

    let Pete in…

  13. blacksx17 Says:

Did you know that the Baseball Hall of Fame sells autograph verions of Pete’s confession in three different styles!!! This is more bogus than Fay Vincent using the word “bogus.” Just reinstate Pete into the game of baseball because it meets the common good!

  14. MrBuckeyeGuy09 Says:

tjp……Yes, he does need to pay for what he has done….but for how long? Isn’t 20 years enough?

  15. usasoldier2009 Says:

He admitted it, dumb fuck. You people on here are so fucking stupid. Holy Shit. Are you fucking deaf. Listen at 1 14… fuckin moron. 🙁

  16. tjp623 Says:

What’s wrong? Who’s to say he didn’t bet for them to loose? We don’t know that, and I can’t see him doing it but who knows, maybe he did maybe he didn’t. You can’t take that kind of a chance if your a commisioner and even though I can’t stand Bud Seling and I love Rose, he still has to pay for what he did. Bud is just an Asshole, big time. Why hasn’t Bonds been under the white light?

  17. astoria3011 Says:

What’s wrong with betting for your own team every game? He didn’t use steroid either. He should be in the HOF now. How many managers/players have guts and trust to bet for their own team every game? He just loved baseball and his team too much.

  18. unclebobunclebob Says:

Cincinnati people cannot possibly look at the Pete Rose situation objectively. They think Pete is God. Not A god. But actually, God. It’s very scary. I was at a rich guy’s house in Cincy once and it was a shrine to Pete Rose, with all sorts of expensive Pete-related stuff.

  19. fantasticdrowseful Says:

leones del caracas player during 70s, just for that i admire him

  20. tico0626 Says:

people who hate pete rose are haterss bitchesssss!

  21. BJJHomos Says:

His “crime” was not nearly as big as the penalty he paid. If he managed better it better from the become with strong legal counsel he’d be in…But enough is enough already. He’s a piece of Americana and it’s time he’s treated as such. We’ve all seen rapists, bank robbers, and worse treated better…And let’s not forget he only bet on his team to win!

  22. prettycow25 Says:

Pete Rose is debateably the greatest baseball player ever (that is no joke, just look at his stats).

  23. h2oBizzong Says:
