   i am watching the movie right now!!! i wish i could find the just the song Let it Ride from this movie! i love it! when ever it comes on in the movie i drive myself nuts singing it!! can any one tell me where i can find that song?! thxs in edvance!!

   I’m a very big fan of this movie. Currently available on Netflix. Very under rated, and I’m actually okay with the fact that most people have never even heard of it. It’s my little hidden gem movie.

   this is the best horse racing movie, like a few others have said, i seem to have met all these characters at the track also.

    @trendon Cheeseburger makes the most of a 20 second spot.Guy was hilarious.As exagerated as his part is,there are guys at the my local dog-track that arent too far off.lol

    @trendon even better on the next race where they say “yes…….yes!……..YES! in unison as the next horse comes in 1st. Exactly like all us real life degenerates. Love this flick.

    The best part is when Cheese comes back (right before the second bet where he starts off “let it ride” in this clip) and he is tip-toeing … “Mr Trotta …. Mr Trotta …. ” all polite. LOL!

    Oh, while I’m at it we need to see Teri Garr’s pissed off wife scene at the Jockey Club:

    “I mean, I don’t know understand why you people can’t just watch the horses run around the track and not bet a thing” (sardonic laughter by the people around amused by her naivete’)

    Still need the scene when he DIDN’T bet, betting windows shutting literally at the last second ’cause he was delayed by a run-in with security. This kept him from losing the race and keeping his parlaying streak going.
