Check out adf.ly6H4pV they’ve got a counting simulator and a ton of information for beginners. I don’t own the site but it has a lot of good information. (I get like 1 cent for everyone who clicks on it but the websites legit)

Perfect basic strategy + counting cards Will give you an almost winning edge of 1%. But the reality is you will only win 2/3 of the time.

i forgot to mention you should start betting near the minimum and once you have a high true count (2-5 or more) feel free to start increase your bet steadily.
April 1st, 2012 at 1:33 am
in easy words. First get the running total as told from the video above, then you will need to convert the running count to true count; divide the running count by approximate number of decks left (ones that are GOING to be used), thats how you get the true count. BUT u still dont understand how to use that in a game of blackjack right? so basically, the higher your true count is, the more advantage you have against the dealer and therefore you should increase your bet.

Count cards all you want but you will never stay ahead of the casino, largley because of negative variance that will offset your lousy one percent edge. Get real. One percent lead is not hardly worth gambling your money. spend your money on something you want instead of giving it to the casino

This is what I dont understand. Ok so you count the value of the +1. 0. or -1. Then what? How do you apply it to an actual hand of blackjack? Once you have the running total, what do you do with it EACH HAND? Please explain.

When the count is high that means quite a bit of low cards are gone and there is a good chance that there will be high cards coming up next so you bet accordingly.
