   @waaeaa The Irish knackers cost the state a lot more than that through multiple social welfare signing, register the same kid under different names, huge crime, provision of halting sites that they destroy and are repaired continually, provision of housing that is also destroyed, they sell the copper hot water cylinder, the copper piping, the roof tiles, doors, windows etc… At least most of the asylum seekers are just that… asylum seekers running away from life threatening situations

   ASYLUM SEEKERS COST IRELAND €1.275 BILLION, DOES NOT INCLUDE ILLEGALS OR CRIME OR COSTS FROM OTHER TYPES OF IMMIGRANTS.

   The Reception and Integration Agency (RIA) heard that the total amount spent by Government on asylum seekers in the past five years totals €1.275 billion, of which €423 million was spent on direct provision.
