I played martingale on roulette and won a lot of money, more then 1.400 eur then I got greedy and lost my own made maximum bet. No matter what I told myself before-that I wont bet after that happenes, I did bet. I lost again. Then I put table limit again all on red. I lost again. I lost everything in 10 seconds, which I was winning the whole month. Luckily I was still in almost 400 EUR profit, but imagine how I felt, when I lost 1.000 eur in one minute. I work 2 months for it. Never again!

yeah but I’m pretty sure you aren’t supposed to stand on 16 against a 9 (unless you were counting cards).

I agree. The casino has an unfair advantage and they are not shy to tell you, but people are still stupid enough to go and challenge the casinos at their game. Someone will win from time to time but the odds are they will come back and give it back to the casino plus an extra $1-200

yes, because that is how you actually play, and you are just an idiot.
Go to google images and type “blackjack strategy card”
You’re welcome.
And yes, you have been playing wrong your whole life.

Your a horrible blackjack player lol you stand on a 13 when he has a 2 but then you stand on 12 when he has a 4?

Depending on the rules and number of decks, with basic strategy your odds are better on blackjack than craps. Most players use a system where the casino edge is between 2% to 6%. For example, you could stand on 16 against a dealer 7 to ace. That would not be smart. In craps, the player can not screw up the odds. In blackjack, they can make the odds less favorable to themself.

I’m a dealer and this is the horrible strategy. I’ve seen guys doing this with larger sums and it gets to the point where a dude is betting $150 to just break even. The only foolproof betting strategy is to not gamble, because gambling is stupid.

THIS IS CALLED NEGATIVE PROGESSION!. AND YOU CANT BET 10 CENTS IN ANY CASINO…. TABLES HAVE A MINIMUN AND A MAXIMUM SO THAT YOU PLAY THIS WAY AND YOU LOSE CAUSE YOULL ONLY BE ABLE TO LOSE SEVEN HANDS IN A ROW THIN YOU CANT DOUBLE UP AGAIN …ITS A TRAP I PLAYED THIS WAY FOR MONTHS AND WON PLENTY BUT ONCE YOU LOSE YOU LOSE BIG AND YOU CAN HAVE BAD DAYS…DO NOT PLAY THIS WAY UNLESS YOU HAVE SOO MUCH CASH THAT YOU CAN GET UP AFTER THIS DOESNT WORK AND GO TO A BIGGER MAX TABLE YOU NEED THOUSANDS
March 29th, 2012 at 8:38 pm
that’s actually a smart strategy, I’m gonna try it!

I use the strategy of always adding on when on a winning streak (usually around half of my winnings from last hand) eg, if I win £10 I would put £10 on plus another £5 … its risky but if you’re on a winning streak you cash out big time. When I lose a hand I always revert to minimum bet and start again so I usually win more than I lose. . . If you’re not brave / stupid enough to do this then maybe just add an extra chip eerytime you win. .

dude… NEVER EVER EVER Martingale your bets… Its a losing bet strategy, And if you were absolutely positive it was something you were willing to do.. Why in the hell would you play blackjack; and not even “perfect” Blackjack at that?! Tthe “Don’t come” on a craps table has the smallest house advantage of any bet you can make in the casino, I promise this, you’re odds are significantly lower playing blackjack than they are betting the don’t come..

This is called a Martingale system, and has been in use for years. It usually (not always) works in the short term, but if you catch a series of losses (which is pretty likely if you play several thousand hands over your gambling career), you will lose all of it back quickly. It eventually evens out to the standard house advantage.
