@billygarner587
I bought your book. On Page 70 winning sequences Conservative:W (1) -2-1-1-1.5-2-1-until lose do I repeat the sequence again or I continue to bet 1s ex. 2-1-1-1.5-2-1-1-1-1-1 until lose?
On losing sequences Conservative: L (1) -1-1-2-4-1-until win do I repeat the sequence again or continue to bet 1s until win ex. 1-1-2-4-1-1-1-1-1?
Also, which sequence is better the conservative or the agressive for winnings and loses?

Did you know that there is a secret code in bj that produces 65% success ratio? Enabling you to make as much many as you want to make. Google Blackjack Secret Code.

And in response to caruso, bs, flat betting is stupid because the house has the edge. That relies on luck only.

I have made some money doing this, but modified a little. The smaller the minimum the better. Every time I played the $1 bj at Sahara I made money

Absolute, unadulterated rubbish. Progressive betting loses more money than flat betting. Almost everything he says is either incorrect or misleading.

Would you still use this method if the table is running 6 decks with a continuous shuffling machine?
Plus for the same setup what was discussed in part one and two of your vids?
Thanks
Sam

for the martingale to work, and for you to bet fearlessly while using it, If you are using 5 dollar units…. You nees like 5 grand just to be safe, That’s if you lose 11 hands in a row lol wich can happen. And you’d be fucked afterwards. People use it in Roullette betting on black or red but software detects it and fucks the game up.. suposedly there are a few internet casinos that don’t detect it… I’ve never tried it.

Most card counting should be looked at as winning chips, not dollars..
If you win alot and have 7 chips at the end. 5 dollar bet = 35 dollars..
Now, if they are 100$ bets = &700..
Money is to be forgoten, it is just chips.
When you count right, you will always win at least one chip per hour.
Always… So if you are betting 1000 dollar chips, you can (if you count right) win 1k an hour. Most casinos will notice your betting system fast. This is the only problem (changing bet sizes).

loosing a hand doesn’t increases your winning chances it just puts it back at 50% again.you could loose up to 10 hands(happened to me last week ).anyways I’ve just come up with a Betting Progression that beats martingale, grand martingale, and flat betting with one hand sequence exception(win-loose alternate)which favors martingale and grand martingale.i’m trying to see if i can improve it more:)

@billygarner587 : you are right, can’t fit my entire strat in a limited comment box on youtube. I do start out on the 3rd or so lost hand in a row progress up (depends on what cards are played)…but I always double plus 1 so that I’m at least getting some profit on each hand rather than just buying my original bet back. You just have to remember, you stop as soon as your bank is depleted….always gamble wisely and never dig into your pot or pocket lol.

@sabriath This sounds like a very smart system. However, it’s pretty easy to lose three in a row. What I would suggest is you bet $10, $10, $10. Then start a modest progression to $20 bet on the fourth hand, and $40 bet on the fifth. If you lose the $40 bet, drop down to the table minimum and ride it out. After 5 losses in a row, you are down only $40 more than if flat betting $10. If you win the $20 bet, you are down only $10 for that losing series. It’s the same loss of $10 if you win the $40.

@billygarner587 : martingale isn’t about winning lots of money, but reducing your loss…you don’t want to take it as far as 640. I usually give myself a bank of 3 progressions, but at x2+{1} meaning if the min is $10, then the set is $10, $30, $70 (110). If I lose it all, then I have only lost my bank, go home call it a night. I also positively progress, but all winnings are split between pot and bank…the bank is considered dead money, pot is what you leave with.

I like the martingale system but you run into trouble whenever you need to double down or split a pair. This can be costly if it doesn’t work out in your favor. Then you are in the game losing a lot of money fast with no sure way to win it back. I set up a mock Blackjack game at my house with eight decks of cards just to see how this betting system works. I deal out six hands because you never play heads up against the dealer in the casino. Most of the time it’s even money or winning alot.

The math holds up, the martingale system WILL allow you to come out AHEAD most of the time, just when you loose a long series, it is really big……you have to have a stop lost.

Y are u saying that this betting system is better than card counting? Thats hogwash!!!

If you loose 10 in a row then you lost what you worked for in a whole day, but how many times will 10 in a row loose/
January 3rd, 2012 at 12:07 am
martingale is exposed as a losing betting system. Because that one time that you’re unlucky, you got a shitload of cash on the line to win that 1 unit bet.
martingale is only +EV when you have an unlimited amount of money and there is no maximum table bet. Too bad we live in the 21st century and we’re not billionaires.

You are correct, but the precise number is 97%. In other words, only 3% of the time will you lose more than 6 in a row in a losing series. The problem is that 3%. If you have a $1000 table limit, and you start with a $10 bet, it goes – 10, 20, 40, 80, 160, 320, 640. The 8th bet goes over the table limit. If the negative progression is limited to 4x or 6x the original bet, I can live with that.
Positive progressions have to be slow to progress or they will be losers. Try the Patrick System.

Don’t underestimate the martingale. It is the best betting progression there is. There is probably over 90% chance you will win one in 7 hands, so why would it go that high? Second, possitive progressions never work because they lose all winnings in one loss near the end, whereas martingale gains back all looses plus the initial bet with only one win. Just pick the initial bet wisely.
