   Knowing how to do the sums is one thing, but it takes a very good knowledge of racing and how to read a race. One thing you should note is the winnings shown are NOT net winnings as Betfair take a 5% or less commission. E.G. 100 @ 5 =500 lay 119.o4 @4.2 profit 19.04 but they take 5% of 400 quid so you lose 96p You really need to get matched a couple of points below the price you backed at to make it worth while. The more bets you have the less the commission they take so it does get easier.

    Mr.Darren,theoretical is perfect,we could profit endless at horse racing,by trading at betfair.All your calculations are perfect.But try REALLY to match your both bets:that for back-at 8.4 and 2.6 for laying.ALWAYS,at this difference ,for laying,Befair will warn you :”‘your bet cannot not be matched”.I tried many times to lay horses at odds lower than on the screen,in order to have a lower liability,BUT rarely my bets were matched at .

    This does not work. I tried it twice yesterday and did not get matched! What is valuable is finding the lay stake. What I did was transfer the odds and stakes to my Bet Angel betting ‘bot’ and played in-running – guess what, I won!!

    Всё, что говорят это настоящий пиздешь, Betfair, это подонки, мошенники, заявляющие, что они имеют 5 % с выигрыша, и коэффициенты их выше на 20-30% от букеров, я играл с ними на протяжении года стал уходить в небольшой +, за неделю выиграл 2500 евро (на следующий день проиграл 800), эти скоты украли с меня 450 евро, объяснив премиум издержки, это 20% от выигрыша, и они заявляют, что если ты выигрываешь, то с тебя будут снимать каждую неделю 20% с выигрыша.
