    @mowpow999 This is clearly a ridiculous response, but to each there own– some people just genuinely don’t like whoever’s music for personal reasons. Obviously Emily Haines is an extremely talented musician but so is Alicia Keys. There WOULD be an aversion to Mrs. Keys because of her mainstream status.

    @luigihijklmn that might be your opinion. However, I have a feeling that once you listen to her more and more you’ll find yourself using the word beautiful too.  Check out all of her work and then listen to a few albums start to finish. You’ll be discovering a beautiful person with a hauntingly beautiful voice.

    @mowpow999 Oh and also, that is the most idiotic comment I have ever read on youtube. I am not a fan of Alicia, but she has a completely different singing style compared to Emily. Thus you are incapable of successfully comparing the two.

    She has a very unique voice. But to actually say “beautiful” Is to much of a compliment. It’s good, it’s great actually. But beautiful, is just not a word that should be used.
