    No, there is a distinction.
It’s the difference between having a horse in the race and just betting on the outcome. The later is gambling the former is not.
“… you are betting that the share price will go up…”
Not necessarily, one buys stocks for a variety of reasons, dividends, etc.

@patatepowa Heck poker has some skill involved, it’s funny he reacted when Michael compared it to sports gambling when what he is talking about is the same thing.

  3. 25039255 Says:

@WilhelmDrake Of course its gambling you are betting that the share price will go up wtf else is it

  4. oolong2 Says:

Yeah that’s exactly what this country needs…. More gambling…

Instead of playing around with “monopoly money” why don’t you invent something that actually improves peoples lives?

“gambling on politics” has nothing to do with fucking “corn futures”. This guy is simply talking out of his ass to justify a SCAM.

Yeah sure Micheal “it would be fun”…. as if we don’t already have enough problems with MONEY in POLITICS.

@ooMONKEYoo what is especially remarkable is the fact that you’ve chosen a limp issue like this to posture as an expert and its beyond tragic that you don’t know what you are talking about. To parse Bale “its FUCKING distracting” when there is someone walking about in the background, and Shure is visibly distracted at points in the episode, hence my comment. And since Bale wasn’t financing the picture its moronic to suggest his outburst was because “film is a lot of money”. Get a clue eejit.

  6. ooMONKEYoo Says:

@theBIGbadwolf101 The funniest thing on the internet is people posing opinions without the slightest background on the issue at hand.

  7. ooMONKEYoo Says:

@theBIGbadwolf101 If you really like being an ignorant idiot, okay.

  8. ooMONKEYoo Says:

  11. ooMONKEYoo Says:

@theBIGbadwolf101 This is live, no extra cost to them. Film is a lot of money.

  12. SrRulao Says:

Great! Just what we need! More manpower devoted to finance, should we invest our brainpower trying to engineer a better environment? Hell no! Let’s keep going down the path of finance industry, because it has worked so well so far.

  13. shraka Says:

@patatepowa It’s more like betting on the horses, except the winnings aren’t divided up based on what horse won, but on which horse everyone likes the most.

  14. DeJach Says:

Prediction markets are awesome. End of discussion.
